A Viking Visit At Bay Court Care Home

Residents at Bay Court Care Home in Largs enjoyed a fascinating visit from some very special guests when a group of Vikings came to the home to share stories and bring history to life.

Dressed in traditional Viking-inspired clothing and equipped with shields and other props, the visitors certainly made an impression. Residents had the opportunity to get a closer look at the costumes and objects while learning more about Viking history and the lives of people from this fascinating period.

The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for residents to get involved in an interactive activity. Rather than simply learning about history from books or pictures, residents could see and handle items for themselves while chatting with the visitors and asking questions.
